Stickies is a tiny piece of software lets you add virtual sticky notes to your Windows desktop. Also on this site there is some software called Skinner, that let's you design your own sticky notes for use with the Stickies software.
Upload an image to this site and it will remove the background for you. It is customisable, but works better with plain backgrounds.
AlternativeTo is a new approach to finding good software. Tell the site what application or app you want to replace and it will give you great alternatives, based on user recommendations.
Draw something with your mouse or finger if you are using a touch screen and it will try to guess what you are trying to draw. You can then download the image.
